This isn't about cutting and pasting from a playbook, it's about writing the playbook.About the TeamThe Airports & Travel team is responsible for growing Uber as the transport mode of choice for travelers in Australia and New Zealand in Uber's mobility business. The goal is to deliver customers a seamless travel experience, aiming to boost airport trip growth, and being reliable when customers need it most. The Strategy & Operations Manager - Travel role is a unique opportunity to grow Uber's business with a focus on Uber's how people travel from A to B. This role calls for a combination of customer centricity, creative problem solving, analytical skills and go to market hustle. You should be as comfortable at data analysis as you are at project/stakeholder management.The Impact You'll Have
  • Contribute to the development of our customer strategy, new products and services
  • Develop the experimentation and go to market plan for new launches/ roll-outs, promotional campaigns or continuous improvement of our product offerings - this includes being responsible or multiple products, new launches and ownership of continued growth.
  • Work with cross-functional partners and global teams to project manage the execution of ANZ business priorities
  • Provide thorough analysis of products, features, customer groups etc. to inform BaU decision-making and synthesise insights from analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Monitor business metrics on ongoing basis to identify opportunities or trouble-shoot issues
The Experience You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Law, Product Management, or similar field
  • 2-3 years experience in Strategy Consulting or other professional services with a proven track record in using data to drive business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, plan and prioritise assignments within multiple projects
  • Experience dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights, checking against what you see in the real-world and synthesising recommendations
  • Distinctive problem-solving - ability to break down ambiguous problems, put structure and use data-driven insights to solve them
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
