- Performing actuarial analytics relating to large loss and catastrophe events at the segment and division level to provide insights in to emerging trends and to assist with reserve recommendations.
- Assist with the reporting of analysis and results to the AXA XL Reserve Committees, Major Event Response Committee, AXA Group, rating agencies and other internal/external parties.
- Review, challenge and consolidation of the reserve analysis performed by the reserving teams across the division.
- Ensuring AXA XL actuarial reporting is compliant with the guidelines set by AXA Group and continuing to enhance reporting suite to meet internal and external requirements.
- Assist with the reserving timelines and workflow across the department including working closely with the reserving teams in India, EU, UK and USA.
- Actuarial Experience: Established with relevant experience within the non-life insurance Industry, with a significant focus on reserving. Ability to ensure timely delivery under pressure is essential.
- Strategic Vision and Tactical Execution: You're not only a strategic thinker but also adept at translating those ideas into actionable plans. Your innovative approach to problem-solving ensures the development and implementation of effective solutions.
- Business Partnering: Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the actuarial reserving process, as well as translate actuarial output to stakeholders.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and presentation skills. Must have the ability to communicate even negative or difficult messages in a constructive and effective manner at all levels.
- Planning & Organisation: An ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks and outputs. Able to plan long term deliverables and ensure tasks are planned and completed accordingly and that any delays or complications are communicated early and resolved appropriately.
