We are looking for an inspired full stack software engineer with a background in development of web services leveraging technologies/platform including C#, Azure, AWS, jQuery, and MS SQL Server. With LPL Financial you will have the opportunity to be part of a team transforming advisor experiences with self-service features that enable and empower our advisors to track notifications and requests within Clientworks.Job Overview:The Software Engineer II will be working with a well formed team to develop solutions to enable and empower interaction between LPL home office users and LPL financial advisors via advisor communication channels supported by LPL. You will be working with a multi-functional development team with high velocity. Activities will include development and enhancement of a single or multiple platforms. The role will require flexible thinking as the team works to integrate existing business and technology concepts with innovative design to deliver a practical and scalable platform.Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and technology partners to implement solutions following LPL architecture guidelines.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies & collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owner, product manager/owner, enterprise architecture and platform support teams to ensure delivery of production into Production.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with quality assurance engineer teams, DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
  • Hands on Web and C#/ .Net development experience integrating multiple application platforms.
  • Utilize and build RESTful backend services.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners.

  • 2 to 4 years of software development experience using .NET stack and web services.
  • Some hands on experience in service oriented application development
  • 1+ years in an Agile environment
  • Excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns.
  • Extensive .NET, C#, JavaScript, JSON and REST services, SQL Server development experience.
  • Hands on experience in SQL server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning.
  • Should have a good sense for Code Architecture and Design Principles.
  • Experience in writing unit tests using any of these technologies VS Tests, Nunit, Junit, Munit, Jasmin/Karma is a plus.

Pay Range: $44.38-$66.58/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
