- Supporting Portfolio Brands and Founders: Provide comprehensive support and guidance to portfolio brands and founders, ensuring their success and growth within the portfolio.
- Managing Steven’s availability: Ensure that Steven remains available for contracted services and engagements, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between him and portfolio brands.
- Consultancy Services: Offer consultancy services across various business functions, including marketing, operations, finance, and strategic planning, tailored to meet the unique needs of each brand.
- Supporting Small to Large Investments: Provide support and assistance to both small and large investments within the portfolio, offering strategic guidance and resources as needed.
- Parachuting into Teams: Act as a resource for portfolio teams, offering day-to-day support and assistance to address challenges and drive progress across all business-related functions.
- Establishing Flight School: Develop and implement Flight School, an accelerator program designed to nurture and accelerate new ventures within our portfolio, providing mentorship, resources, and support to emerging entrepreneurs.
- Monitoring Portfolio Performance: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio brands and investments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio brands, founders, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Proven experience in investment management, portfolio management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business operations, finance, marketing, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - great relationship manager with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
- Proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong focus on driving portfolio growth and success.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
