Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Purchase ledger Assistant to join a household brand based in Leeds City Centre, the team is looking to take on a new team member as the workload expands and the function changes in the coming months. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, key duties of the Purchase Ledger Assistant will include: Processing supplier invoices in a timely mannerPreparing monthly payment runs in multiple currenciesMaintaining supplier accounts and addressing outstanding payments, resolving in a timely mannerMaking ad-hoc payments and submittingReconciling supplier statementsResponding to supplier queries in a timely manner and resolving any issues through internal communicationSupporting with annual auditOther ad hoc tasks as required To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following: Previous experience of working within a finance function (preferred not essential)Strong excel skillsConfident communicatorCareer orientated In return, the successful candidate will receive the following: £24,000 - £25,000 base salary25 days holidaysHybrid working environmentLonger term career opportunitiesRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
