- Board-level and system-level testing including functional testing, electrical parameters testing, thermal and environmental testing.
- Understand the functional specification of the system and then write the test cases/test specifications to test all the hardware interfaces present in the system.
- Bench and system-level testing of new designs for verification against design specifications, record all the issues/anomalies, and track/test fixes before release into production.
- Complete all documentation that is required to capture test specifications and results.
- Communication and coordination with HW Design, System Validation, Compliance/Reliability, and Manufacturing teams throughout the development cycle from prototype through production.
- Attend meetings, report progress, and take technical leadership to debug the issues.
- Help investigate and collect information to resolve process or design issues found in a current design or in previous designs.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers hired into the team who may be tasked to perform some of the above duties.

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics.
- Use of standard bench-level test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol-specific data pattern generators and Analyzers, and other supporting equipment
- Strong hardware analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of HW interfaces/protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, UART, SFI, XFI, etc.
- Ability to debug complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of using software tools for analysis, development, testing, and debug
