It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as , andKONE is developing a modular people flow solution, KONE Office Flow, that delivers smooth, personalized access and enhanced user experiences in smart, adaptive workplaces. Part of the solution is the innovative KONE Lane turnstile. It brings together the latest in space efficient design and advanced sensor technology.We are now looking for a (Senior) Engineer, HW Development to join Device Engineering / Hardware Engineering Europe team in Hyvinkää, Finland to work on the development to bring KONE Lane to next level.In this role as a (Senior) Engineer you shall take active role in the development of the KONE Lane and bring it to the next level together with the Lead Engineer and the project team. The KONE Lane engineering team is consisting of mechanical, electrical and software engineers. Also Industrial Design is integral part of the solution.To be successful in this position, wide technical understanding is needed and interest to learn new. Good co-operation and networking skills will help also.Depending on the phase of the work and tasks, it is possible to work remotely around 1 days a week, but since the role also includes laboratory work, it is mainly done in our R&D office in Hyvinkää, Finland.In order to be successful in this roleAbility to work in and international environment with stakeholders distributed globallyExperience of developing electro-mechanical products and bringing them to production in high qualityUnderstanding of different technologies: electronics, sensors, displays, cameras, speakers, mechanics, etc.Hands-on attitude and prototyping capabilityKnowledge of HW / SW testing and verificationCapability to work with Linux environment and embedded SW drivers.Capability to create related documentationFrom 3 to 5 years of experience of product developmentM.Sc.
