- Provide one-to-one support and tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Implement strategies to help students improve academic performance and develop key skills
- Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role
- Understanding of various learning disabilities and special educational needs
- Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a school or educational setting
- May need to travel to different locations within Berkshire
