This entity is dedicated to the complete services of the equipment which can go up to the reconditioning of the emergency engines for certain nuclear power plants in the world and that of the engine of the Leclerc tank for the French army.What you will be doingReporting to the Technical Service Manager within our Special Application entity, you will play a crucial role in offering technical support, particularly for our Nuclear activities.As Engine Expert H/F your work will focus on these responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary Technical Support for the Special Applications (SA) departments focused on Nuclear activity.
  • Address technical issues related to diesel engines from internal SA clients, analyze, and identify problem causes in collaboration with relevant internal or external parties.
  • Define technical specifications for the procurement of new parts that meet product definition requirements. Provide technical assistance on issues concerning non-compliant parts or deviation requests.
  • Establish acceptance criteria for compliant engine products, including test bench specifications, requalification criteria for component acceptance, and offer technical support throughout the engine refurbishment process, identifying components for replacement.
  • Draft ASI Service Bulletins, which serve as official technical documents for customer communication.
  • Compile expert reports in scenarios involving component validation, obsolescence (in conjunction with Supply Management), damages, or specific customer requests (coordinating with Contract Management and Sales Management).
  • Review and verify documents from Methods, Field Services, and Quality departments.
  • Maintain daily reporting (KPI) to monitor performance and progress.
  • Provide backup and support to other Technical Service teams in both the military and nuclear sectors.
  • The missions are carried out while respecting the applicable rules as regards Quality, Safety and Environment, in accordance with the commitment of Wärtsilä.
  • Travel is to be expected in the amount of 6 per year (technical audits, technical validation of suppliers)
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial design office
  • Diesel engine technical expertise, nuclear business expertise
  • Master's degree (preferably from ENSPM, ESTACA, ENSAM, IFP) or Bachelor's degree + 2 years of additional experience
  • An advanced level of written and spoken English Ability to convince your interlocutors.
  • Rigor, Organization, Autonomy
  • Team spirit and interpersonal skills, you have a sense of service.
  • Ability to optimise existing solutions.
Nous recrutons unExpert Moteur H/Fpour rejoindre l'équipe de Surgères. Cette entité est dédiée aux services complets des équipements pouvant aller jusqu'au reconditionnement des moteurs de secours de certaines centrales nucléaires dans le monde et celui du moteur du char Leclerc pour l'armée française.Se positionner en tant que Référent Technique du produit concerné auprès des départements Special Applications (SA):
  • Réceptionner les problématiques techniques parfois complexes qui concernent les moteurs Diesel auprès des clients internes SA,
  • Analyser et Identifier les causes du problème auprès de l'ensemble des interlocuteurs concernés : clients internes ou fournisseurs externes,
  • Solutionner et restituer la résolution du problème à travers de notes/ rapports techniques, d'arbre de cause, présentation lors de réunion clients en assistance à Contract Management/Sales Management,
  • Résolution des « Tech Request » : assurer les réponses techniques, mise à jour de la documentation technique, résolution obsolescence du produit, assistance clients internes et externes,
  • Rédaction des spécifications techniques d'approvisionnement des pièces neuves contenant les exigences de définition du produit, à destination des fournisseurs,
  • Définition des critères d'acceptations permettant d'obtenir un produit moteur conforme (spécification passage au banc d'essai avec critères d'acceptations, critères de requalification pour l'acceptation des composants requalifiés),
  • Supervision de l'exécution des essais (possibilité d'interrompre et adapter la sévérité de l'essai ou le plan de test) + Exploitation impartiale des résultats d'essais,
  • Rédaction de Services Bulletins ASI (document technique officiel de communication vers le client),
  • Rédaction de rapports d'expertises dans le cadre d'une validation de "design change" d'un composant (interface avec Supply Management/reste de QPTM) ou suite à une avarie ou une demande spécifique avec commande client (interface avec Contract Management/Sales Management/reste de QPTM),
  • Vérification de gammes Méthodes et Field Services (pour la partie purement technique liée à QPTM),
  • Supporter les projets techniques ou les résolutions d'obsolescence concernant les pièces, sous-ensembles, et certains auxiliaires moteur par des études et par la rédaction de documentation technique, de plan de validation, et de rapports. Ces activités sont pilotées par un Project Manager ou un Technical and Obsolete Survey Engineer (interface avec Contract Management/Sales Management/reste de QPTM),
  • Vérification de la documentation Qualité pour la fourniture de pièces neuves (Plan de Qualité de Réalisation)
  • Assurer un reporting quotidien (KPI),
  • Assurer le back up, support des autres équipes QPTM en cas de nécessité,
Ce que nous attendons de vous:
  • Expérience de 5 ans minimum au sein d'un bureau d'étude industriel
  • Expertise Technique moteur Diesel, Expertise du business Nucléaire
