Our marketing department produces quality work for major companies and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and digital marketing campaigns as well as digital advertising.This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock-ups, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
  • Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
  • Assist with the fulfillment of marketing offers
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
  • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
  • Prepare high-quality presentations
  • Enter contact information into contact management systems
  • Provide support to social media efforts
  • Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels
  • Maintain tracking report of public relations activity
Potential Career Experience Activities1. Digital Marketing
  • Interns may work on social media campaigns, email marketing, content creation (blogs, articles, video scripts), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies, and analytics. Understanding how to use digital platforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with consumers is crucial.
2. Content Marketing
  • Involves creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience. Interns might assist in planning content calendars, writing and editing content, or analyzing engagement data to inform future content strategies.
3. Social Media Marketing
  • Tasks include creating posts, scheduling content, monitoring social media channels for customer interactions, and analyzing social media performance to increase engagement and audience growth.
4. Market Research
  • Interns may conduct consumer research, competitor analysis, and industry trends to gather insights that inform marketing strategies. This can involve surveys, focus groups, or analyzing data sets.
5. Brand Management
  • Involves maintaining and improving the brand's image and market position. Interns might work on brand audits, develop brand strategies, or assist in managing brand campaigns.

  • Support in planning, organizing, and executing events (both virtual and in-person) as a way to promote the brand or specific products/services. This includes pre-event marketing, event logistics, and post-event follow-up.
7. Public Relations (PR)
  • Tasks could involve writing press releases, monitoring media coverage, assisting with PR campaigns, and handling communications with media outlets to enhance the company's public image.
8. Product Marketing
  • Involves strategies to market specific products or services. Interns may assist in product launch plans, develop marketing materials, and work on cross-functional teams to bring a product to market.
9. Advertising
  • Interns might help design and implement advertising campaigns across various media, including online, print, TV, and radio, and measure the effectiveness of these campaigns.
10. Analytics and Data Analysis
  • Analyzing data from various marketing campaigns to gauge their effectiveness, make recommendations for improvement, and understand consumer behavior. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, or marketing automation software analytics is beneficial.
Requirements
  • High school sophomore, junior, or senior with an interest in Sales, Marketing, or Advertising
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of social media
  • Driven and hard-working
  • Ability to take direction and multi-task
  • PowerPoint, Word, and Excel experience a plus (alternatively, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides)
  • Canva experience is a huge plus

Application Process * Applying for Internships - Internships are usually only specified for the city listed in the description, even for remote roles. Please do not apply for roles with city specifications if you are not in the metro area of that city.
  • Screening - We screen your information to make sure you are a fit for the role. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age and be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school in the United States that has NOT graduated high school. If you have applied for a role in a city that you do not live in, your application will be moved to our remote pool for further processing. If you are international or have graduated from high school, your application will be declined. Freshmen in high school MAY BE considered on a case-by-case basis. Please do not apply if you have graduated high school.
  • Virtual Video Interview - Within 48 hours of receiving your application, you should get an email with a link to our interview system. This is an asynchronous interview that you can complete any time your schedule permits. However, please take the interview seriously and give yourself a quiet area to complete the process for the best possible video interview.
  • Assessments - Within 24 hours of completing your interview, you will receive an email to complete your assessments. These assessments are based on the role you applied for and can take about an hour to complete. We use the assessment as a baseline to properly place you for internships that we have with our clients.
  • Onboarding - Once all previous steps are completed, within 48 hours, you will receive a date for onboarding. This will start with a call with our CEO to introduce you to the company and get you set up in the system so that we can start assigning projects. In many cases, we may have projects ready for you to start within a week of onboarding.
