We offer 251 rooms to facilitate all types of travel; standard rooms, executive rooms, family rooms and interconnecting rooms.Objective of the RoleThe ideal candidate will help to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Bar within the Hotel. Responsibilities:
To manage the day-to-day operations of the Bar, ensuring that at all times, the Hotels’ 4* standards are implemented and adhered to by all service personnel
To plan, organise, control and review all service and systems to provide the best possible service to guests
To monitor all purchasing to ensure appropriate quality and fair prices and to minimize stock holding where appropriate
To ensure stock takes are carried out as and when required and to act on deviances in a timely manner
To manage budgets, forecasts and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure and labour costs
To be fully familiar with all aspects of food and beverage service and to assist within the departments when required
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum 12–18 months experience at a management level in a similar property with a background in Food & Beverage
Be competent in hands on service skills and possess good fundamental knowledge of wines & beverages
Excellent team leader and communication skills and ability to manage a team
The ability to lead, multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Have great relationship building skills with the customers and the team
