This cultural approach and organisational shift will be achieved by establishing a new organisational-wide framework and capability called the ‘Global Process Ownership Model’. The model will operationalized Diageo’s Growth Ambition, driving excellence from grain to glass by connecting markets, functions, and operations through the definition of end-to-end global process and capability standards. It will require us to rethink our relationship with people, process, data and technology and how all elements are brought together at the right time and in the right way, to deliver outcomes. This operating model change will able us to more optimally drive sustainable transformation and efficiency at scale, as well supporting Diageo to digitise the business.The GPO Model Transformation Team will define, design, deploy, drive embedment and continuous improvement of the Model (at an enterprise level). Bringing Functions and Markets on the journey (Exec down) to drive agreement and the shift to a GPO Model aligned organisation. The team will work in partnership with a broad range of customers to agree, codify and deliver new ways of working across the business. This could involve everything from defining clearer decision rights/RACIs between teams across the end-to-end change journey, to shaping the organisational set up needed to support it. Key customers will include but are not limited to; Global Process Executive (GPE), Owners (GPOs), and Leads (GPLs), as well as functions such as the Strategy & Transformation Team, Digital Technology and Data Team, Controls, and Transformation Programs.Note: This team does not define the standards for business processes/capabilities themselves (e.g. for Finance), instead it will define the common approach needed across all GPO Teams to stand up the model consistently.ROLE DIMENSIONSGPO Model Program Support will play a key role in supporting the GPO Model Transformation Team and working with customers outside the team to drive this organisational and cultural shift (enterprise level). They will facilitate effective management of the program in line with our defined standards, supporting with planning, organizing and driving quality and timely completion of plan activities, as well as maintaining the operational drumbeat of program routines. To succeed they will need to be extraordinarily organized, meticulous, and comfortable with diverse teams.TOP ACCOUNTABILITIESProgram Planning – Planning in all forms across the breadth of the plan, both in the long and short term, and preparation for / supporting execution of workshops and key meetingsProgram Coordination – Co-ordinating across the plan (and with interdependent plans) ensuring it is being actioned on time, to the right standard and in the right wayProgram Routines and Reporting – Create and implement program operational routines, and track and report against GPO Model objectives, outcomes, plan and risks and issuesTYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIESSupport day-to-day program operations of the Global Process Council and monthly sponsor meetings, creating/collating inputs and outputs and supervising action postEnable tracking and reporting of Program and GPO progress (high level) and execution, including progress against the program plan, outcome and lead KPIs, GPO maturity curveBuild and own actions' tracker ensuring closure to drive the broader short (12 month) and long term (3 year) PlanHighlight challenges and risks to the program and inform the program manager to ensure actions are put in place to mitigate and deliver quality outputs in a timely mannerSupport with organizing sessions and workshops (including supporting design and preparation of inputs and outputs)Support the change and communications planning, materials build and executionMaintain and update GPO Model Teams Site and key resources, ensuring they are easily accessible and shareableMaintain budget and track expenditures/transactionsKEY SKILLSETSProgram/Project Management Skills (proficient in MS Office)Strong verbal and written communicationBalances detail orientation and efficiency, driving progress over excellenceExceptional coordination and organisation skillsRelationship buildingIDEAL EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITIES5+ years of relevant experience in Programs/Projects (planning to execution and reporting)Consistent track record as clear communicator and strong coordinatorDemonstrated ability working in a fast-paced, large and multi-layered diverse matrix organizationAbility to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust and respectDemonstrated brilliant execution to impeccably high standards and deep personal accountability for great performanceFlexibility is key to our success.
