Your New Company/Role:As one of the established industry leaders, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts payable Officer to join their growing team, based in Artarmon 2064. This is a 1 month temporary (subject to extension/permanency). The successful candidate must have exposure in end to end accounts payable duties alongside working with backlogs.About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:Reporting into a supportive and nurturing Manager:Your duties include:

Full-function accounts payable, from invoice processing to payment runs
Managing and reconciling supplier accounts
Processing backlog invoices efficiently and accurately
Handling supplier queries and ensuring timely issue resolution
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Assisting with month-end reporting and reconciliations
Working collaboratively within the finance team and liaising with internal stakeholders
Assisting the accounts receivable team when required
Any other reasonable duties that may be required

Ideal ProfileThis opportunity is for someone who has experience within end-to-end Accounts Payable duties with an Accounting background. You will also bring:

Diploma/Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or work experience equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience in bulk invoice processing and dealing with backlogs
Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
Experience with large ERP systems - Sage software is highly preferred but not mandatory

$35 - $42 + Super (based on experience) [competitive salary once gone permanent]
