Job DescriptionI am currently working with a really exciting early stage company in Galway, who are developing a highly technical device in the structural heart space. They are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, who will take the lead on all supplier quality activities, in addition to supporting QMS development and Quality operations activities for early stage manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate who wants to make the move into a dynamic, innovation driven environment where their actions will have a visible impact.Responsibilities:

Qualification and onboarding of new suppliers
Supplier audits
Ownership of SCAR process and management of supplier issues
Supporting the set up of early stage manufacturing lines and dealing with Quality events on the line
QMS development and implementation
Mentorship and support of team members

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Quality role in the Medical Device field, with experience in Supplier Quality, including involvement in Supplier audits
ISO 13485 Lead auditor preferred
Level 8 or above in Science, Engineering or a related discipline
