- Support technical execution of innovation projects, dossier preparation and feedback for China registration
- Ensure technical documents are up to high standards and available in a timely manner
- Follow innovation process and governance and lead technical risk assessment
- Play a key role in strengthening team expertise and spirit, being a sustainable team member
- Key partner to CBU’s and collaborate closely with R&I, regulatory, marketing, operations, factories and quality to deliver Greater China Innovation pipeline and product registration
- Design product which will deliver sustainable value in, competitiveness and superior experience on the market
- Develop innovative nutritional infant formulas & FSMP products that comply with China legislation, product brief, internal nutritional guidelines and internal quality guidelines, in an economical way
- Be the technical lead within the technical stages of formulation design and development up to commercialization of a new product innovation/renovation
- Ensure formulations follow robust design principles, risk mitigations are in place, and all documentation is in line with InnoPro Governance process.
- Work closely together with stakeholders in Supply Points, Pilot Plants and Advanced teams on trials and alignments on the final results
- Implement compliant and high-quality products at Danone European factories, support registration and commercial activities first time right
- Able to anticipate risks and challenges and to proactively propose solutions
- Build and own expertise on product category: Technical, Quality in Design, Consumer Experience, Competitive landscape
- Able to look critically at the current product development process & challenge the status quo and capturing knowledge
- Strong expertise as a food developer/ environment or R&D environment, preferably in the field of infant formula powder and/or Medical Nutrition, dairy processing and spray drying
- Mininum 2-year experience in an international environment
- Master’s degree or higher in Food technology or similar working/thinking level obtained via experience
- Scientific Mindset (to understand SN)
- Proficiency using tools for formulation design, documentation, systems and processes are key to the compliance and quality aspect to the role
- Strong stakeholder management skills, to communicate effectively & efficiently with various functions and levels (operator to director) within R&I, CBU, Operations & QFS
- Team player and collaborative mindset with an autonomous working attitude
- Pro-active in work and communication, open-minded, analytical, curious and hands-on approach
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Quick to analyse complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions with concrete action plans
- You have change agility, a business acumen mindset, result driven (based on technical expertise) and able to work autonomous;
- Can deal with changing priorities, manage uncertainty and deal with complexity in a dynamic organization
- Is fluent in English, both verbal and written
