Excellent opportunity for a project engineer with decommissioning experience to work at a world leading bio medical manufacturing business, on a very exciting project!

Exciting long-term contract opportunity (12 Months)
World leading biomedical manufacturing business
Based in the northern part of the CBD, Melbourne

Role:

Decommissioning tasks related to shut down of an existing manufacturing facility.
Varied role with many different tasks related to exit of the site, examples include but not limited to:

May need to note chemicals in building – arrange quotes for chemical disposal
Manufacturing equipment to be decommissioned – write protocols for approval
Take equipment off of SAP
Arrange decontamination
Catalogue of existing stock and what will occur with it (ie destruction or move to next site)
Review access to buildings
Determining shut down dates with various areas

Must have:

Decommissioning experience would be ideal
Great attitude and keen to learn, hands on, problem solver, ‘get it done’ attitude
(Operational background could be considered)

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering or Science field.
Relevant experience in similar industry – food/pharma/oil and gas
GMP industry experience
Experience in decommissioning equipment, facilities and systems desirable.
