As tourist information admin, your main responsibility will be to provide visitors with information about local attractions, events, accommodations, transportation, and dining options. You will also be responsible for keeping the information centre organised and well stocked with up-to-date information. Your duties may include greeting visitors to the information centre, answering phone calls, emails and assisting visitors with trip planning. You may be responsible for assisting with marketing and promotional activities to attract more tourist to the West Clare area. This may include creating and distributing promotional materials, coordinating with local businesses and attractions to provide special offers, and attending events to promote the area as a tourist destination. Overall, as a tourist information admin, you will play a key role in helping visitors make the most of their time in the area by providing the information they need to have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
