- Develop and execute partner strategy: analyze internal capabilities and external market factors to determine where we need to partner, who to partner with, how to structure partnerships, etc.
- Lead all aspects of deal execution with support: identifying and prioritizing targets, business case development, deal structuring, negotiating terms and contracts, and closing
- Collaborate across segments: liaise with Product, Sales, Commercial and Strategy teams and other areas of the business to gather input and ensure alignment on the partners we pursue
- Ensure the success of your partnerships and work with the partner and stakeholders at Worldpay to launch and grow the partnership
- Have the autonomy to explore other potential partnerships that can deliver additional capabilities to our existing suite of products and services, and hence additional value to our merchants
- 2-3+ years of sales experience in a business development (preferred) or a relationship management role, ideally in a technology or fin tech space
- A track record of signing and launching new partnerships with tangible business value and revenue impact, ideally in a technology or fin tech space
- Proven ability to assess potential partnerships with a strategic lens; thinking through use cases, value proposition, what that means for the business case, and what tangible business benefit it provides in the short and long term
- Strong aptitude for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of Worldpay as well as client/partner organizations
- Added bonus if you are currently in the payments industry in the US or UK and have a general knowledge of how the payments ecosystem works
- Ability to travel 20-30%
