- Supervising the food & beverage operations ensuring the team deliver a friendly, exceptional service to all guests.
- Having full and complete knowledge of the food menus including allergen menus, enabling you to assist with any guest queries.
- Working alongside Head Chef to ensure all food delivered is of high quality and standard.
- Building strong working relationships with the kitchen team and restaurant staff and collaborating closely to drive sales and continually improve standards.
- Reporting any issues regarding all food and beverage to the Conference & Banqueting Manager.
- Assisting in the management, training, and leadership of the Banqueting F&B team ensuring standards are consistently met and wherever possible exceeded.
- Carrying out all opening and closing procedures of the restaurant including till reconciliations.
- Participating in regular staff meetings.
- Ensuring knowledge of the hotel and facilities is up to date in order to upsell at every opportunity and maximise profitability.
- Monitoring and observing team members ensuring all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations are followed.
- Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the Resort standards at all times.
- Attending any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.
- Have a passion for hospitality, great food, and great service.
- Have at least 2 years of restaurant/bar experience.
- The ability to lead a team.
- Previous experience working in a high pace, busy bar/restaurant (desirable).
- Above experience gained in a 4/5-star environment (desirable).
- Good leadership skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Have a positive and friendly attitude.
- Be performance-driven and focused on implementing a culture of excellent customer service.
- Be able to work well while under pressure, showing initiative whilst multi-tasking.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns including weekends.
- Previous supervisory experience in a bar/restaurant/hotel
