- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasting of customer demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and procurement, to gather and analyze data, market trends, and customer insights for demand forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze demand patterns, market dynamics, and internal sales data to identify demand forecast variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods, optimizing transportation routes, and reducing costs.
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management strategies, including inventory optimization, safety stock management, and inventory control processes.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success and professional development.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
- Handle ad-hoc duties related to supply chain management, such as vendor management, contract negotiations, risk management, and other strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge and understanding of supply chain management principles, demand forecasting techniques, logistics operations, and inventory control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to handle ad-hoc duties and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
