The Yojee Transport Management System (TMS) enables third-party logistics providers to assign loads, manage shipments, and track contracted road carriers' vehicles and drivers in real-time as they deliver their customer's freight.About the Engineering team at YojeeThe Yojee Product team comes up with the best strategy for product features and roadmap to solve on-ground logistics problems. We are accountable for the entire product lifecycle, right from planning through development and go-live, always ensuring our product drives value for our customers. We work very closely with engineering to build awesome features, and with customer success to align to the needs of the industry.About the Product Owner roleSprint Planning and Management
  • Assist in developing sprint plans, schedules and objectives
  • Monitor sprint progress, track key milestones and adjust plans where necessary
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of sprint deliverables Resource Allocation and Management
  • Assist in determining Engineering resources required to complete sprints and the wider roadmap
  • Help manage resource allocation and ensure resources are utilized efficiently Communication and Reporting
  • Facilitate effective communication among sprint team members and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sprint status, risks, and issues. Product Ownership
  • Contribute to the vision and direction of the product in collaboration with senior product managers, Director of Product and the CPO.
  • Help manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and define user stories and acceptance criteria. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into sprint planning and product development.
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss project objectives, deliverables, and progress.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support the evaluation of completed sprints to identify successful and unsuccessful sprint elements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting improvements to sprint management processes and product development practices.
Learning and Development
  • Continuously learn about new sprint management and product development methodologies.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of working experience; 1 year or more of product or project-related experience preferred.
  • Experience working with engineering squads
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand perspectives of different user personas and prioritise needs.
  • The ability to challenge conventional ideas and to flag potential roadblocks.
  • Analytical problem-solver, detail-oriented and self-driven.
  • Some experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
  • A strong can-do attitude with an emphasis on getting things done with minimal supervision
Nice to have● A track record in solving User Experience problems.● Domain knowledge in logistics, preferably transport.● Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Operations Research, or Supply Chain.
