Proficiency in Plugins Integration: - Strong understanding of how to integrate and use plugins within Unity projects. - Experience with popular Unity plugins and the ability to evaluate and integrate new plugins as needed. 4. Deep Graphics Language Expertise: - Strong understanding of graphics programming languages such as HLSL/GLSL. - Ability to write and optimise shaders for Unity's rendering pipeline. 5. Strong Animations Experience, including Transformation: - Proficiency in creating complex animations using Unity's animation system. - Experience with character rigging, animation blending, and state machines. - Ability to create animations that include transformations, such as scaling, rotation, and translation. Specific Skills Lacking in Previous Profiles: - Deep Graphics Language and Animations Experience, Particularly in Transformation: - Experience with advanced graphics programming concepts. - Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques, including transformations. - Ability to create visually appealing and optimised animations for Unity applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop a Unity Editor Extension for importing and managing Lottie format animations as vector graphic objects in Unity. Implement geometry estimation or shader programming to integrate Lottie animations into Unity runtime, ensuring a seamless user experience. Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimization across various devices and platforms. Work closely with the design and development teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into functional and efficient software solutions. Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and support. Optimize the plugin for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high performance. Stay updated with the latest Unity features, plugins, and best practices to improve the plugin continuously. Desirable Skills: Proven experience in Unity development, specifically with Editor Extensions and shader programming. Strong understanding of computer graphics, linear algebra, and computational graphics techniques including both bitmaps and vector graphics. Experience with cross-platform development and optimization in Unity. Proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the Unity Editor's scripting API. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex development tasks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
