The RoleBased at our Brydock Mill, an opportunity has arisen for a capable and organised individual to join our team and support the smooth running of the HR function. The role will include carrying out a variety of tasks relating to payroll, recruitment, training, absence and holidays, as well as general administration for the whole function. This is a full time role with a requirement for 5 days per week (Monday- Friday) 0830 - 1700.AutoReqId3442BRCompanySofina FoodsHours of Work08:30-17:00 (M-F)Key AccountabilitiesAdministration of monthly and weekly payrolls, ensuring timely returns and up to date information for the payroll office at Malton, and to assist in the transition from manual payroll to Crown T&AAssist in the administration of the Group recruitment system, including arranging interviews and progressing to employment.Update and maintain the personal files for all staff ensuring confidentiality at all times.Ensure relevant information is readily available on turnover, sickness, overtime and holidays, in order to support the management teamSupport the HR Manager in the management of absenceUndertake the timely return of all statistical information required ensuring that all required reports are completed in a timely manner.Assist in the planning of communication initiatives such as staff meetings, maintaining their timetables and assisting in providing the content. Source and administer training which contributes to the development of staff at all levels, including maintenance of the Training MatrixSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a similar role would be an advantageA Qualification or a background in HR would be desirable Strong administrative skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems will be essential in this roleCompany InformationSofina Foods is more than just a food company.
