Job DescriptionJob Purpose: The position holder is responsible for evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and preparing reports with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers.Main DutiesPlace purchase orders and issue call-offs according to production schedules.Follow-up on supplier confirmation of purchase orders and shipments.Establish requirements of specified packaging materials both local and imported based on medium-term requirements.Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.Updating all records of purchased products.Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses.Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.Scheduling and verifying purchase deliveries.Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations.Other tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.RequirementsQualification: Degree in purchasing and supplies management or related fieldAdditional SkillsStrong time management skills and ability to perform well with deadlines.Good Communication skills and ability to work in big teamwork.Understanding of transportation systems and regulations.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong organization and documentation skills.Strong research and analytical skills.Working experience: 3+ years' experience, preferably in a manufacturing sectorSalary: Attractive and NegotiableEmail me jobs like thisAbout SARIA RecruitmentSARIA Provides efficient Recruitment, Payroll and EOR service in Ethiopia.
