Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.As a ServiceNow Platform Developer, you’ll support multiple ServiceNow functions, primarily within IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, and Security Incident Response. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our roadmap, which includes process improvement initiatives and critical compliance with regulatory requirements.A typical day would involve:
  • Develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance the ServiceNow environments at Vancity.
  • Work with other teams to identify any existing gaps, improve, and automate processes.
  • Review and analyze business requirements to formulate solutions.
  • Build and analyze reports and dashboards.
  • Stay current with and evaluate new tools and techniques to contribute to the overall efficiency of the platform.
  • Document development work and final solutions. Review product documentation and apply the learnings to your work.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and business stakeholders regarding development work. Provide training and/or documentation to team and Business Stakeholders.
  • Ensure ServiceNow platform security configuration aligns with corporate security policies and industry best practices.

You have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex ServiceNow projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Developer Certified is a bonus.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Integrations, Custom Scoped Applications

The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.We offer:
