You will be empowered to create a strategy that enables your team to guide user centered thinking. You will support your team in delivering research insights that are high quality and designed to influence decision making for design, product, and business strategy. Part of your charter will be to develop skilled research team members.

We are looking for a leader with strong business and product competence, a talent for storytelling, and ability to work well with cross functional partners.About the RoleContribute to Workday’s research team vision and strategyDefine a strategy for your team that aligns with the vision of the broader UX Analytics organizationGrow and develop a research team that supports design, product and technology teams.Create a sense of belonging and community for your team & contribute to development of the broader research community.Collaborate with research, design, product, and engineering leadership to inform, build, and scale programs that keep the user at the center of key initiatives.Lead a team of research ICs and support them in delivering high quality and impactful user research insights.Consider factors beyond your immediate team to innovate, take appropriate risks, and balance short, medium, and long-term needs.About Workday DublinWorkday Dublin has over 1200 employees in our city center offices Dublin has a team of 40+ UX researchers and designers working across multiple product and technology areas. In Dublin, we're focused on Employee Experience Technology, Talent Optimisation, Core Services and Design System.About YouBasic Qualifications:At least 5+ years of experience in technology as a UX research practitioner or leader.At least 1+ years directly hiring, leading, mentoring and developing full-time researchers.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience conducting UX research with meaningful business impact.Other Qualifications:Experience conducting or leading research in enterprise software and/or FINTechExperience creating, setting, and leading research strategy that aligns with business priorities.Track record of translating research into business impactExperience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and partners including designers, product managers, engineers, etc.Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences.Comfort in engaging with senior executives and sales teams.A flexible and effective influencing style.Ability to establish and meet bold timelines.Open to Flex-hybrid reporting with 50% onsite at our Dublin office.Master’s degree or PhD preferred.Our Approach to Flexible WorkWith Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
