- Development of electrical/electronic parts/systems
- Update and release drawings to suppliers and work with suppliers through the entire life cycle of part
- Conduct system level reviews with other Design Groups
- Manage cost and weight of assigned parts to meet or exceed targets.
- Warranty reduction/JDP IQS data analysis for making recommendations to improve customer dissatisfaction items.
- Work with Nissan global team (USA/Japan/Mexico) to coordinate development projects and review Nissan internal specifications, requirements, and standards for electronics (hardware and software).
- Closely coordinate with suppliers to achieve Nissan test requirements.
- Conduct logical problem-solving activities through root cause analysis and countermeasure proposal to effectively close concern issues.
- Extensive interaction with manufacturing, other design groups, assembly plants, styling, test groups and prototype sections.
- Communication Protocols, Embedded systems, Microcontrollers & Signals
- Lab equipment: Multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator
- Programming: Python, Matlab other
- Desirable: Knowledge of DRBFM (FMEA/Root Cause Analysis)
- Language: English - Advanced Level (Business Fluent). Interaction with Japan, France, USA, international suppliers.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible Working time (due to difference in international time)
- Computer Skills: NX CAD, MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel in Mexico and internationally (Under normal condition: Post-pandemic condition)
