As part of its role as market facilitator, Elia is engaged in the development of Consumer Centric Energy Solutions. Increasing shares of sustainable energy resources and massive electrification generate a paradigm shift in the consumption behavior: demand will have to adapt to the available production. One of the key solutions is to foster the development of flexibility, either triggered by a request of Elia (balancing services) either triggered by a financial incentive (implicit flexibility / new energy solutions). For all voltage levels, Elia needs to unlock all available flexibility located behind the head-meter of the consumer, while keeping this process seamless and beneficial for the consumer.To support Flexibility Service Providers, Energy Service Providers and Consumers in the development and valorization of flexibility, Elia is looking for a KAM Energy Solutions. You are the key partner to our energy service providers to support the development of all types of flexibility: provide advice, support the development and implementation, manage contracts, settlement discussions and operational processes.The KAM Energy Solutions is responsible for the following tasks:Support Flexibility Service Providers, Energy Service Providers & Elia Customers
Support Flexibility & Energy Service Providers/Elia Customers to build or access new flexibility services based on their needs;
Manage contracting, implementation and settlement of all balancing services within your portfolio of Flexibility & Energy Service Providers;
Participate to the all relevant Working Groups of Elia (WG CCMD, WG balancing,…);
Prospect for new Flexibility & Energy Service Providers and promote flexibility.
Interactions with your colleagues
Understand and challenge market design principles as well as operational processes to satisfy the needs of Flexibility & Energy Service Providers and Elia Customers
Ensure the implementation of digital customer-oriented solutions within a product approach organization
Represent the voice of the Customer in the different product teams for energy solutions (balancing services, energy communities, multiple BRPs,…)
At least 5 years of experience in the energy sector with a good knowledge of the Belgian energy market;
Customer oriented and independent;
Solving spirit and pro-active: propose solutions or alternatives to move forward;
Ability to work in a fast evolving environment and to quickly integrate updates;
Team spirit and results oriented.
