Join Liedekerke as a temporary Knowledge Officer!Liedekerke’s Knowledge Management team enhances efficiency by centralising and organising knowledge resources, enabling quick access to information and reducing time spent on research. Through collaboration platforms, they foster knowledge sharing among lawyers, promoting continuous learning and innovative solutions. Proactive monitoring of legal developments and client needs allows the team to anticipate and respond effectively, enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty. The team, consisting of three colleagues, is currently seeking a temporary Knowledge Officer to support them from July 2024 to January 2025 during maternity leave.Your responsibilitiesAs a Knowledge Officer, you support our lawyers in their legal and business information needs, by managing and updating our library and overseeing our legal and business information resources. You also:
  • Maintain and introduce databases and perform on-demand searches on legal databases in different areas of law.
  • Support Compliance by conducting research on newly opened matters.
  • Manage administrative tasks like monitoring of jurisdiction, seminar registrations and invoicing follow-up.
What we offer you
  • A temporary contract from July 2024 until January 2025 as replacement during maternity leave.

Your profileAs a Knowledge Officer, you should possess a degree in Paralegal studies or Law, Business Management or Library & Documentation Management. Additionally, at least one year of relevant work experience is necessary and a familiarity in library processes is advantageous. Moreover, a keen interest in discovering emerging legal and business information sources, such as AI or other innovations, is essential for success in this role.
  • A fluent communicator in Dutch, French and English, spoken and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
  • Collaborative yet autonomous
  • Initiative-taking and motivated with excellent communication skills
