Long term contracts offered in supportive teams. 37 hours a week with rates up to £34ph. Various locations available throughout Cornwall. Close to the sea and beautiful Cornish coastline. Flexible hybrid working arrangements and travel/accommodation allowance offered to those working away from home.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified social worker to join the Family Assessment and Support Team. The successful candidate will be undertaking social work assessments, care planning and report writing, including court reports. You will be responsible for case management of vulnerable children and families including holding child in need plans and progressing cases to ICPC if appropriate. Experience of joint investigations and ABE training preferable. The candidate should have knowledge and experience of using the Signs of Safety model. The role is initially for three months with the possibility of being reviewed for extension.Cornwall Council's Children and Family Services deliver effective front line services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
