Our cutting-edge facility boasts an advanced automated system, integrating state-of-the-art components such as shuttles, conveyors, and automated guided vehicles, ensuring seamless product storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.As the Technical Optimisation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fine-tuning our automation control system and operational management systems to enhance customer service, reliability, and efficiency. From optimising on-time order fulfillment to maximizing output through software applications, your expertise will drive continuous improvement and shape the future of retail logistics. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of innovation and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to join us at Toll Group!A day in the life of a Technical Optimisation Manager at Toll Group:Spearhead the optimisation of application and order fulfillment systems, driving performance to new heights.Lead and mentor operations teams to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our cutting-edge automation system.Identify and swiftly resolve system faults, collaborating closely with vendors to maintain uninterrupted operations.Unlock valuable business insights through in-depth analysis of technical data, driving strategic decision-making.Lead the charge in system troubleshooting, integration, and testing, ensuring flawless performance at every stage.Engage with customers to tailor system configurations to their exact needs, while providing proactive oversight and feedback, and championing continuous improvement initiatives for a dynamic and rewarding role.Manage the financial responsibilities of the automation service team and spare part replacements.What You’ll Need to Succeed:Tertiary qualifications in Auto Electrics/ Electrical, Mechanic/Mechanical, industrial electronics or similar preferred.An analytical approach to process optimisation and problem solving.A strong customer focus commitment to safety.Excellent communication skills across a broad range of disciplines both oral and written.CI, Process optimization, and project management skills.Ability to build strong relationships and work within a team environment.What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
