The engine of our success is the importance and value that we place on the talent and passion of our people leading to their own professional growth.JOB PURPOSEReporting to the Head of Corporate Security the Asset Protection Business Analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of robust reporting and analysis for the Asset Protection Department within Group Corporate Security. This role requires an analytical and detailed leader with a strong background in risk analysis, profit and loss management, shrinkage calculation criteria, fraud patterns, process-mapping abilities to improve and enhance processes and proceduresRESPONISIBILITIES
  • Conduct thorough analysis of point of sale transactional data and other systems to identify patterns, trends, and exception for investigation or potential internal and external fraudulent activity
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of data mining, monitoring and analytics to improve existing strategies
  • Support with internal and external investigations providing actionable data and offering investigative support using available resources and technologies
  • Perform auditing activities in Retail business
  • Responsible for generating reports for trend analysis, key performance indicators, field asset protection team performance summary
  • Perform special projects or additional asset protection duties as requested by the Head of Group Security
  • Create presentation data for executive management
  • Liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Inventory Team
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, Loss Prevention and other retail partners to develop predictive analysis and practical solutions to challenges currently or evolving risk to business
  • Participate in industry leading benchmarking surveys and explore quantitative data to assist with developing or evolving strategic priorities
  • Comfortable taking initiatives and being resource/entrepreneurial
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSBachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting and/or SecurityProficient in English written and spokenProficient in the use of SAPMinimum 2 years of data analysis, reporting and quantitative analysisPrevious experience developing business cases for executive managementStrong financial and business acumenProficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Access, Power BI, and Power Point) programs is requiredA hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and finds opportunities to change processes to drive efficiencyResiliency and adaptability are key to be successfulAbility to work collaboratively across several cross functional teamsExperience with ERP and other business intelligence systemsExperience with case management systems, exception reporting systems and auditing systemsW-Z, CFI, CFE certifications a plus
