Due to growth within our team and the opening of a new group living home, Homea for Support is recruiting. If you have the interest and ability to develop independence skills in young people, can drive and have the right to work in the UK, apply to join our teamResponsibilities of Supported Living Mentor:To enable you to build solid professional relationships and succeed as part of our team, you will dedicate your time to guiding care experienced young people and unaccompanied asylum seekers (UASCs) to:
  • Access to safe and supportive educational and leisure activities
  • Development of life skills including building and sustaining positive relationships and independence skills such as budgeting, shopping, and cooking
You will:
  • Conduct daily care visits to looked after children (LAC) living in a group environment, ensuring the Home is clean, hygienic and well-equipped
  • Represent Homes for Support and advocate for children in our partnership with professionals
Benefits & Salary:
  • Salary range: £27,000.00 to £40,932.00 (depending on the working pattern and professional qualifications)

  • 2 days work, 4 days off work (10 shifts per month, 150 hours per month and 14 days annual leave)

About Homes for Support:We are a strong and well-structured team of care professionals providing residential care to young people ages 16 to 18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities. To give you the best possible experience as a team member, our semi-independent group and solo-living Homes are close to our Head Office and in-house Training venue in Crewe, Cheshire.We care for Children and Young People ages 8 and 18 in residential homes in Cheshire and support families in the community of Cheshire and surrounding areas. Our services include Therapeutic Children's Homes, Supported Living accommodation and Community Outreach work. Our work focuses on Children and Young People with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning difficulties, vulnerable families and unaccompanied asylum seeker children.
