- Duties include quantity cooking, dish room duties, cleaning duties, serving resident's meals, restocking and other kitchen responsibilities.
- Responsible for the daily preparation of fresh-made recipes such as salads, sandwiches and other Bistro items, as well as stocking items in the Bistro area as needed
- Preparing supplies for cooking line and restocking diminished stock as needed, assist with baking and preparing desserts
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate meat slicer.
- Ability to multitask is a must
- Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment
- Quantity cooking experience, a plus but not required
- One year of cooking experience in a long-term care, hospital, or restaurant setting preferred but not required; We will train the right fit for our team!
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; this position will occasionally require transporting meals to other communities.
- Our starting rate is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
- We pay for high performance! We will review your wage at 100 days.
