We are currently working with one of the world’s leading and most well know trading and investment corporations to find them a global mobility/expat tax & immigration specialist to join them in their growing London office, in a unique inhouse role.Because of the diverse skillset they require, this opportunity would be perfect for someone currently working within consultancy and looking to get their first role inhouse.What they are looking for is someone with extensive experience dealing with an expat population (ranging from short-term secondees to permanent transfers) consisting of mainly of senior executives, handling everything from the tax, pensions and benefits harmonization, to looking after their immigration processes.As a result, a strong understanding and capability around UK tax and immigration is essential. Duties will include;
  • Administration supporting salary and fringe benefits of the expats
  • Coordinating payroll related matters for expats and working closely external vendors.
  • Produce reports on expat numbers and changes for HR.
  • Collecting and analysing compensation data for tax returns and PAYE Settlement Agreements – liaising where appropriate with tax advisors.
  • Maintain employee files.
  • Coordinate the expat new joiners process including on-boarding, arranging and conducting HR inductions, setting up bank accounts and all related administration for new expats.
  • Leading and coordinating immigration, tax, expats remuneration, and benefits for expats – working with external immigration and tax advisors.
  • Leading and coordinating with the off-boarding process including all necessary administration work and informing payroll and all relevant parties.
  • Ad-hoc tasks including audit checks as and when required.
