- Demand planning: Build business leading demand plans by owning the UK forecasting system, maintaining & developing as necessary, and challenging the commercial team on the accuracy of and assumptions within their demand plans (KPI target = FC accuracy
- Customer supply chain: Progress to perfection with our customers by building strong relationships with management level contacts at our key customers. Lead on customer supply chain improvements including best route to market & cost to serve pillars to ensure LSB achieves preferred supplier status with our strategic customers.
- Dig in & get dirty to drive down our obsolete stock levels through monthly deep dives and planning ahead for new product launches & renovations (KPI target = stock at risk
- Represent all UK supply chain interests within the broader supply chain function.
- Proven Supply chain experience in a retail/branded environment.
- Order Management process experience – ensuring accurate and timely execution of customer orders, claims management and continuous process improvements
- Direct people leadership experience – able to inspire, tackle difficult discussions, develop & drive a team to deliver.
- Demand planning guru – understanding theory of building accurate demand plans and its importance to the business.
- Ability to develop effective partnerships with major UK retailers both on operational excellence & joint business improvements.
- Strong working knowledge of forecasting & ERP systems – SAP specifically preferred.
- Passion for people leadership – with an emphasis on motivating & developing people to leave things better than you found them.
- Excellent relationship builder & communicator – with both internal cross-functional stakeholders & external contacts.
- Strong MS Excel user & analytical interest – capable of crunching numbers to deliver insights & results.
