Sales Engineer (Materials Handling / New Business)Birmingham – Hybrid Working Options AvailableUp to £40,000 Basic DOE + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle + Benefits PackageMonday to Friday 40 Hours per Week (Flexible Working Hours)Sales Engineer required for a market leading manufacturer, specialising in materials handling, and lifting equipment. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a well-established company who have a 60-year history and are well known for the quality of their products.The successful Sales Engineer will hold proven sales experience and will need to come from an engineering industry related background. Any experience within the materials handling industry would be advantageous, however product specific training can be provided.The successful Sales Engineer will focus on new business generation as the company looks to expand their customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, contacting new businesses, and scheduling site visits. You can expect to spend approximately 70% of your time visiting customers at client sites throughout the UKThe company offer bespoke equipment so understanding customer requirements is key. The equipment range is valued up to £150,000, so this role offers huge earning potential with uncapped commission on offer.Sales Engineer Role:· Focus on new business – responsible for identifying and contacting new, potential customers
