Project Engineer

• Support the Project Manager in planning and supervision to ensure activities are executed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Lead work independently, inclusive of supervision and team development as required.
• Manage assigned work through all phases to ensure objectives are being met with regards to HSE, quality, cost, budget management, and schedule.
• Engage with Supply Chain to develop strategies, tender packages, contract exhibits, bid evaluations, requisitions and contract management plans.
• Provide validation of contractor and supplier invoicing prior to payment.
• Direct contractors through all phases of work required to execute activities. Manage contractor progress, interventions, and variation orders as required.
• Ensure all activities follow the Project Management Standard, Engineering Management Standards and Stage Gate Standard
• Develop relationships and manage key onshore and offshore interfaces.
• Maintain good communications with stakeholders for progress reporting.
• Prepare and present updates for senior management as required.
• Interface with project services in the preparation and maintenance of schedules, cost estimates, forecasts, risks and other reporting.

• Extensive experience in all Access & Coatings activities
• Customer focused.
• IT skills such as, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to demonstrate technical capability.
• Good level of secondary education
• Delivery focussed and committed to achievement of project/company goals.
• The individual must be proactive, work on their own initiative, be a good team player, and have good leadership and communication skills.
