Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sr Business Analyst with expertise in Sunrise Acute Care to join their team at The Client in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in optimizing clinical workflows for order entry, result review, and more, directly supporting exceptional patient care.What you will be doing:Collaborating closely with clinical staff at The Client to understand their specific needs and workflows for order entry and result review.Translating these requirements into tailored configurations for Sunrise Acute Care, ensuring they effectively support The Client’s unique environment.Front end Sunrise configuration including but not limited to: Order sets and templates specific to The Client’s specialties and practices, medications, labs, procedures, and other order types used at The Client Alerts and notifications for critical results based on The Client guidelines.Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the configurations implemented at The Client.Testing configurations thoroughly to ensure functionality and adherence to The Client workflows and user needs.Troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues related to orders and results specific to The Client’s setup.Directly interface with business users by responding to support calls escalated by the Service Desk.Participate in user focus groups and requirements workshops, vendor training and demonstrations.These are consistent accountabilities for all staff:Assist in supporting activations and rollouts.Consistent efforts to deliver quality solutions as per agreed scope.Customer focus and close alignment with the customers’ business objectives.Ensure efforts to continually improve domain knowledge.Ensure the quality of the deliverables as per the defined defects standards.Document issues with resolutions and share with team members to improve team productivity.Provide data to generate team performance metrics.Knowledge transfer with other team members to improve overall team education level.Take complete ownership for the assigned task and timely inform the progress of the project / task to all stakeholders.Adherence to the defined standards.Take initiative and drive to bring to logical conclusion, proactive approach.Provide accurate and timely information and escalate when there are issues.Actively participate in meetings and make valuable contributions.What you must have:BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience.5-7 years Health IT Industry experience preferred.7-10 years practical experience in providing technical support and maintenance on clinical applications preferred.Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager experience required.Sunrise Acute Care: In-depth knowledge of Sunrise Acute Care functionality and configurationExcellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical environment.Strong written and verbal communication skillsOther Information:Travel Requirements: May require local travel.
