Our fast-paced environment means we embrace change, and communicate effectively, to proactively and creatively solve problems.The OpportunityIf you were to join Basis Technologies in our ABAP Developer position, you can expect to:

Work on one of our core products to develop, test and implement our backend SAP ABAP OOP layer
Create innovative, robust and supportable solutions
Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Document software designs, code, and test cases
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Develop and test enhancements to our certified SAP solutions suite
Develop and test bug fixes to our certified SAP solutions suite
Attend daily stand-up progress meetings and backlog / requirements refinements meetings

Is this opportunity for you?To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:

2+ years experience using ABAP in a professional capacity

Change management: Transports and source code control
RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs/ABAP OOP/User exits/enhancements
Experience with the SAP Application development lifecycle
Strong interpersonal skills, quick-learning, attention to detail
Business level proficiency in written and spoken English
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Proven track record in writing unit tests

Desirable Skills:

Experience of delivering projects with Agile Methodology
SAP UI5/Fiori development experience
ABAP Unit Test Driven Development (TDD)
Netweaver Gateway Service and ODATA
