PA Direct Logistics are seeking a motivated and dynamic Logistics Business Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and closing sales in the logistics and warehousing sector. This role involves offering comprehensive logistics solutions, which include warehousing, shipping, and coordinating services from other companies. The Logistics Sales Specialist will be a crucial member of the sales team, with opportunities to earn a competitive salary, including a base salary, commission, and bonuses.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify potential clients and proactively approach them to understand their logistics needs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Present and promote our comprehensive logistics solutions to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients to meet sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop customized logistics solutions that meet their specific needs.
Coordinated Services:
  • Collaborate with various logistics and shipping providers to offer a seamless and integrated service to clients.
  • Coordinate with third-party companies to provide complementary services, such as trucking, shipping, and warehousing solutions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales and a strong understanding of logistics and warehousing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in using sales and CRM software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for client meetings, if required).
Salary and Compensation:
  • Base salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
  • Commission for closed deals: 5%-10% on everything you bring in!
  • Total Compensation Projection after 2 years: $150,000
