- Work closely with different Antrak Australia stakeholders/functions to map business activities & finalized required documents aligned to BLX’s QHSE Management System & ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Standards.
- Tender / Prequalification Submission Support
- Support Commercial function in timely completing QHSE section(s) for various tender /prequalification submissions. Review robustly relevant tender documents to earmark different QHSE obligations & align with the stakeholders to ensure compliance with the QHSE obligations.
- Project QHSE Documentation
- Prepare and finalise project/customer specific QHSE Plans/Manuals as per the contractual requirements & ensure full compliance with the QHSE Plans/Manuals.
- Contractor/Supplier Selection - QHSE
- Prepare & finalize Contractor/Supplier Selection protocols with a special focus on QHSE aspects. Ensure Contractor/Suppliers are selected, validated & remain approved based on the finalised QHSE Prequalification Criteria by the business.
- QHSE Reporting
- Complete various monthly, quarterly and/or annual QHSE reporting for the business & for ongoing projects as per customer requirements.
- QHSE Training
- Work closely with the HR function to ensure required QHSE trainings are identified, documented & completed for the required staff including contractors/suppliers.
- QHSE Audits
- Conduct &/or participate in various internal, external & customer related QHSE Audits. Take ownership in closing out Audit findings.
- Contractor/Supplier QHSE Audits
- Conduct &/or participate periodic QHSE Audits for the approved Contractors/Suppliers to ensure compliance to the QHSE Management System / ISO requirements and continual improvement.
- Other QHSE tasks
- Take ownership in completing other QHSE tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Comply with all Bollore Logistics’ & Antrak Australia’s country specific QHSE Integrated Management System policies and procedures.
- Support all company QHSE promotions and initiatives.
- Keep informed of all QHSE information provided by the company in accordance with any legislation, codes of practice and guidelines and liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.
- Immediately, in the event of an accident, dangerous occurrence, or a risk of imminent and serious injury or harm to the health of any person at the workplace, report the matter to your senior Manager or Supervisor.
- Report to your senior Manager or Supervisor any hazard or potential hazard to which any person is, or might be, exposed to at the workplace.
- To consult and cooperate with Bollore Logistics Management on all matters relating to the health and safety of persons and the environment at the workplace.
- Attend and actively participate in location QHSE meetings.
- Propose recommendations to your senior Manager or Supervisor regarding how the QHSE Management Systems can be improved.
- Conduct workplace inspections and/or checklists as may be required.
- Execute Business Continuity Plan during a crisis as per BCMS documents (if assigned).
- Manage, adhere & act in accordance with the responsibilities and authorities to deal with Pharma related quality & operational issues within the company and with the Customer (as required).
- Support Business Continuity Plan (BCP) as & when requested.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience along with passion and zeal to acquire new skills in the areas of QHSE Management System, ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001), country specific Regulations and allied matters.
- Basic qualifications preferably in the areas of Quality and/or HSE. Country specific Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferable.
- Internal Auditor’s Training/Certificate in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 related internal and external auditing experience desirable.
- Experience managing/dealing with contractors/transporters especially in the mining, energy, oil/gas sector relating to QHSE highly preferable.
- Good organizational skills and able to prioritize their workload with multitasking.
- Sound verbal, written & listening skills in English.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers/contractors, and staff.
- Eagerness to learn and take on additional trainings where identified / required.
- A small percentage of international travel will be required to do QHSE Audits at customer/project sites.
