- Administer and manage construction contracts, including reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contract terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with your Project Manager to develop and implement contract management plans, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Accurately produce Scope of Works outlining the works to be completed by the subcontractor under the construction contract
- Procurement - prepare and issue subcontract packages, trade comparisons from subcontractors, and analyse proposals to determine the most cost-effective and reliable solutions.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor agreements, variations, and other contractual documents to verify accuracy and mitigate risks.
- Monitor project budgets, cost expenditures, and timelines to identify variances and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Facilitate communication and resolve disputes between project stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including contract modifications, correspondence, and project records.
- Construction related Bachelor's degree - Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar.
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role in the construction industry in Australia, with a focus on commercial projects (not just residential)
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including contract law, terms and conditions, and building industry standards.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Jobpac, Cheops or Procore - training can be provided
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
