JOB DESCRIPTIONPortfolio Management
  • Develop and implement portfolio management strategies to optimize operational and financial performance and drive business growth
  • Develop annual budget and long-term business plan with stretched targets
  • Review and monitor operational and financial performance of portfolio companies
  • Conduct, review and maintain detailed financial models and present financial analysis to key stakeholders
  • Lead in annual AUM assessment and impairment test to optimize valuation of portfolio companies
  • Review and update risk registers of portfolio companies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and Group policies
  • Develop ESG roadmap and set long term ESG targets in line with Group policies
  • Develop and maintain good business relationship with all stakeholders, including senior management, O&M Operators, JV partners, regulators and major customers
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business updates for senior management
  • Execute debt refinance of portfolio companies
  • Set senior management remuneration and incentive schemes for portfolio companies
  • Conduct and coordinate various due diligence work streams including but not limited to legal, financial, tax, commercial, insurance, technical and ESG for VC projects, working with internal functional teams and external advisers/ consultants
  • Develop and implement post-acquisition integration plan
  • Prepare Board papers, presentations and other materials as required.
Value Creation
  • Develop and implement value creation strategies to deliver business outperformance and unlock EBTIDA and Distributable Income (DI) above Under-Writing (UW) case, hence creating value for unitholders
  • Identify bolt-on opportunities
  • Identify suitable assets for strategic review/ capital recycling through investment exit
  • Identify asset enhancement and cost optimization opportunities
  • Identify synergies among Group entities to drive operational efficiency and cost-saving or through joint procurement
  • Identify opportunity to reduce operating cost and improve margin through automation
  • Identify opportunities arising from proactive climate change management and sustainable business operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics or business management with strong academic qualifications. MBA/CFA would be beneficial
  • At least 5 years of relevant portfolio management and value creation experience ideally in fund management or corporate finance/ M&A/ valuation in investment banks or corporate principal investment teams or accounting firms, focused on the infrastructure sector; Candidate with less than 5 years of experience but with superior relevant experience and skill sets will be considered
  • Experienced with accounting and valuation principles and financial modeling
  • Proficient in market and industry study to assist the review of business plans of portfolio companies
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively complete tasks within demanding timelines and competing priorities
