What you'll be doingYou will provide accounting and administrative support to assist in management of Restricted Financial Assets (RFAs) and Custodial Trust Funds (CTFs) for NSW Health Pathology private practice arrangements for Staff Specialists. You will be liaising with corporate staff and Staff Specialists to effectively and efficiently administer the revenue and expenses of their trust funds. You will also assist in maintaining receipting and processing of revenue to bank accounts.Interested in joining Australia’s largest public pathology service? Apply now by addressing the following questions: * Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines, organise and prioritise high-volume workloads.
  • Advanced skills in creating, maintaining and publishing documents, utilising the Microsoft Office suite of products, primarily Excel and including Word.
  • Excellent communication skills and superior customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people while maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to proactively identify issues and formulate strategies to address them.
  • Recent and relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Ability to understand and investigate legislation, procedures and instructions in relation to the operation of trust fund and general fund accounts to process payments and purchases.
  • Experience in producing monthly and annual BAS statements as required under Ministry of Health guidelines.
  • Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSW Health Pathology RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
