This role will be responsible for the North West Region up to the Scottish border.North West Regional Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of resources (including human, physical, and financial) across the North West Region for the company.
- Aim to surpass targeted financial outcomes and actively drive revenue beyond agreed budgetary expectations.
- Exhibit expertise in general or specialist valuation knowledge.
- Cultivate durable and impactful client relationships through outstanding client management capabilities, contributing to revenue and business acquisition.
- Guarantee efficient operational procedures within the North West, allocating staff accordingly.
- Lead the development and execution of regional business acquisition strategies, marketing efforts, and events, ensuring their success.
- Manage the region's profit and loss account comprehensively.
- Collaborate with the UK Regional Director in policy development and participate actively in the regional management team.
- Adhere strictly to policy guidelines within the region.
- Take charge of Health and Safety protocols within the region.
- Handle all aspects of employee relations, including recruitment, employment of temporary staff, performance appraisals, and other employment matters, in partnership with the People Team in London.
- Commit to delivering unparalleled client service throughout the region.
- Capable of analytical and clear thinking, especially under pressure.
- Experience within an auction house environment with valuation, sale and consigning experience essential
- Possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing and able to travel across the region as needed, with a lease car option available.
- Demonstrated ability in leadership and team management.
- Understand fundamental financial principles, including accounting and profit and loss statements.
