Duties:
  • Work across our all age team supporting people in the Acute Hospital with their Mental Health
  • Provision of Education about Mental Health to acute colleagues will be an expectation of the role
  • Support our new Mental Health Rapid Response Vehicle service, delivering support for people experiencing mental health crisis in the community in partnership with our ambulance service
Requirements of the Senior Mental Health Practitioner:
  • A Registered Mental Health Practitioner (Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) with experience of working with People experiencing a mental health crisis
  • This position is suitable for a highly motivated, compassionate person who is able to work under pressure
  • Passionate about improving the experience for people who access support and treatment
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact at all levels
