  • Undertake hydrogeological assessments including the interpretation of data, site investigation planning and coordination, conceptualisation and reporting.
  • Provide high quality technical capability and ability to successfully manage and contribute to projects with a hydrogeological focus.
  • Potential to undertake limited field work.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide technical experience and expertise in groundwater investigations, management and impact assessment.
  • Developing groundwater models and drafting technical reports.
  • Drive innovation in our modelling practice with new techniques, workflows and ideas.
  • Review models and support groundwater modelers from within our Perth team as well as across our mining business.
Senior/Principal
  • Delivery of groundwater management advice to internal and external clients predominantly in the mining industry.
  • The technical oversight and review of hydrogeological support for complex groundwater projects around the globe.
  • Managing projects including project scoping, budget control, planning, development of schedules and coordination of resources to meet completion deadlines.
  • Developing and managing best practice approaches and technologies for hydrogeological assessment and related decision-making, while keeping abreast of advancing technologies methods and research & development.
  • Leading, mentoring, and coaching colleagues with respect to their career growth and technical professional development and actively transfer knowledge.
  • Drive innovation in our practice with new techniques, workflows, and ideas.
About you:
  • Tertiary-qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering or related discipline; a Post-graduate degree in Hydrogeology will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of technical report writing, other written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the consulting industry with business acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of hydrogeological assessments to characterise and address complex groundwater problems.
  • Machine learning and coding background (e.g., Python, Matlab etc.) will be highly regarded.
  • Passionate about hydrogeology.
  • Strong commitment to HSSE, mental health and developing a safe workspace for everyone.
