- Conduct studies related to river hydraulics, such as hydrological studies, determination of design flows, hydrogeomorphology, sediment transport studies, floodplain mapping, etc. –
- Model and simulate the hydraulics of watercourses and hydraulic installations using specialized software (1D, 2D and 3D)
- Design hydraulic installations such as spillways, retention basins, canals, bridges, culverts, penstocks, etc.
- Carry out dam safety studies
- Assess the impact of climate change on various infrastructures - Plan and carry out field surveys
- Participate in multidisciplinary coordination
- Take charge of clients, projects or batches
- Write and check technical reports and contribute to the development of plans and specifications
- Participate in the preparation of service agreements
- University Degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in hydrology or hydraulics with academic training in modeling (an asset)
- Experience in hydrogeomorphology (an asset)
- Member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of river and/or coastal hydraulics
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context to ensure communications on certain projects
