Job Title Product Definition Analyst / Product Owner for ticketingBusiness EnvironmentThe Order Business Domain is responsible for maintaining the leadership on the backbone of our Altéa vision, namely the Passenger Service System (PSS) and shape its transformation towards the emerging Order Management business model, all this while ensuring and fostering the technical sustainability and regulatory compliance required in the order domain.The ticketing entity oversees the development of products for airlines and travel agents, related to electronic documents business, revenue integrity services and financial sales reporting.As the contract/order management and usage is the core of the passenger journey, our teams and products handle interactions with lots of different actors, both internally and externally.This scope encompasses:the E-ticket, EMD storage and associated use casesthe inter-system communications involved in ticketing flows (other E-tickets servers, DC, GH)the financial feeds (sales and usage) to third party systems (BSP, airlines Revenue Accounting), batch or onlinethe end users; print-outs based on electronic documentsthe E-ticket/RTS and EMD synchronizer productsIn numbers, our application manages 6000 online transactions per second, 150 airlines and 120 markets, representing more than 650 million documents created per year worldwide and one of the biggest relational databases in Amadeus.About the roleIn this position you will be working partly as Product Owner and partly as Product Definition Analyst for a SAFe agile team evolving cross business domain between Order and ADC. You will be working very closely with PMs, stakeholders and peers from several divisions. The projects of the team will have you balance the use of new technologies and legacy products while ensuring legal and security regulations are followed.Team EnvironmentWe are evolving in a SAFe agile environment, including both delivery (in SCRUM), component and maintenance (in KANBAN) teams, to better focus on customer centricity, interoperability and built-in quality, while thriving on fast-tracking innovation.Our organization also emphasizes a strong DevOps culture. It provides architecture, solutions and expertise support, and includes a dedicated team to foster engineering experience and excellence.The usual projects include major airlines implementations (lately Etihad, Air Canada...), products evolutions (strategical community projects, official mandates, bespoke requests) and technical improvements.Our main challenges lie with the evolutions of the latest industry trends (such as NDC, OneOrder, Merchandising) and the current technical progress and strategy (cloud, microservices, stream processing, data driven model, event driven architecture), while ensuring reliable and foolproof products to our customers.Our organization thrives to embody the "simple, agile and open" mantra, by working on an open, dynamic and connected framework.Specific accountabilities as PDA:Assess requirementsBuild, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes, services and usage of end user productsAnalyze business requirements submitted by Product ManagementSize specification and validation workCarry out functional designWrite Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholdersInterface with relevant divisions and departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus applications and ensure functional compatibilityManage, prioritize and communicate the flow of workEnsure the features and user stories backlogs are reprioritized before each release and sprint planning sessionConstantly align and communicate with respective agile counterparts and leadership teamDo sufficient analysis to ensure requirements are ready to be worked onWork closely with delivery teams to ensure they build the right functionality in a timely mannerIs involved with ongoing testing effortsOverview validationContribute to the implementation of the test strategy, and review test plan, to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrityEnsure traceability of tests with specificationsEnsure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.Manage relations with key stakeholdersInterface and communicate with Product Management, Project management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration and Development teamsInterface with the customer during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing and implementation phasesParticipate to team eventsSupport team stakeholders by participating to team ceremonies: Agile forums, Team meetings, Solution assessments...Specific accountabilities as PO:Understand, identify and define customer needsTransform the high-level vision of the Product Manager into detailed requirements, working closely with a range of stakeholders for the product, including non-customer stakeholders such as finance, security, operations, support, audit, and othersInteract with Product Managers to write user stories affecting the team backlogSupport the product features definition (scoping)With the support of the Agile team, lead the definition and prioritization of the User stories, based on customer needs and value, to deliver based on market and business needsConsider and prioritize amongst all user stories the enabler work and sequence the architectural runway in collaboration with the development teamManage, prioritize and communicate the flow of workEnsure the features and user stories backlogs are reprioritized before each release and sprint planning sessionConstantly align and communicate with respective agile counterparts and leadership teamDo sufficient analysis to ensure requirements are ready to be worked onWork closely with delivery teams to ensure they build the right functionality in a timely mannerIs involved with ongoing testing effortsParticipate to Agile eventsAccept stories prior Sprint reviewActively participate to team coordination meetings, PO synchronization meetings, draft plan reviews and management meetingActively participate to System demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops if in SAFeAttend the events and sharing sessions organized by the Community of Practice of Product OwnersOrganize demosCommon accountabilitiesHas the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline.
